Old town Gion.

Gion is an old town in Kyoto - Japan. A lot of it has been rebuilt to capture what it used to be like I believe during the Sengoku period.

It is a well known Geisha district in all of Japan however, they do not refer themselves as "Geisha" but, "Geiko" which means "A woman of art".
